No-Bean Beef Chilli

INGREDIENTS:
3 lbs ground beef
2 cups chopped onion
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 T ground cumin
1–3 t chili powder
1 t dried oregano
1 t salt 1 t pepper
¾ cup sweet red pepper, chopped
1 small jalapeño seeded, finely chopped
24 oz unsweetened tomato sauce
14 oz diced tomatoes
4 T tomato paste
2 T unsweetened cocoa powder
3 cups beef bone broth
Optional: Top with green chillies, chopped cilantro, coconut yogurt, and avocado.
Brown the ground beef with the onion and garlic in a large skillet until no longer pink.
Stir in the dry seasonings, then place the beef into the slow cooker.
Add all the remaining ingredients into the slow cooker, and stir to combine.
Cook on LOW for 8 hours.
Serve with your choice of toppings, and enjoy!
